As the country prepares for a new leader to take office, President Barack OBama and First Lady Michelle Obama open the doors to the in Architectural Digest’s December 2016 issue—on newsstands now.

Who better than photographer, Michael Mundy, to photograph the Obama family’s private White House residence. Gracing the cover of the magazine, as well as the feature story, Michael Mundy photography showcases the exceptional work of interior designer Michael S. Smith. To combine great classic design with contemporary art is incredibly refreshing. Bravo to both of them!
